The Underground Kitchen: Secret Suppers Are Now a ‘Thing’

We’d put it on the level of State Secret (but DC isn’t a state).

Following closely on the heels of DC’s first Diner en Blanc comes another clandestine culinary adventure in the Capital.  The Underground Kitchen gives members access to a one night only, 5-7 course pop-up dinner in an undisclosed location with an amazing chef.  Like other secret suppers, members don’t know where the Underground Kitchen will be.  But they also don’t know who’s cooking or what will be served.

Truly intimate by tradition, everyone can register to receive an invitation — actually an email that states simply the dinner date, ticket sales time, and a clue about the secret location — but only 25-40 people will actually be able to get a ticket once passes for the event go on sale.

Tickets are $175 per person and all inclusive (meal, wine + gratuity), and are first come, first served, and limited to 2 per member.

We predict this meal sells out in minutes.
