The New Way to Collect Rocks: RocksBox

Accessorizing is about changing it up.  So why not revel in unlimited options — and a stylist’s selection of personalized items just for you — instead of splurging on those this-season statement earrings and trying to justify the price by wearing them with. every. item. in your wardrobe??

A San Francisco based jewelry subscription service — actually founded by a local Capital City cutie — recently introduced its bling in the Beltway, and DC ladies are quickly falling under its charms.  Introducing: Rocksbox.

How does it work? First, you’ll visit Rocksbox.com  to answer a survey (complete with photos of jewelry) to help your stylist determine your personal style… and what new pieces you’re looking for from lines like House of Harlow, Loren Hope, CC Skye, Margaret Elizabeth, Gorjiana…

Then, for under $20 a month, you’ll receive (in a ribbon-wrapped box) three pieces of designer jewelry on loan, hand curated for you.  Wear your RocksBox pieces for as long or as little as you like, and then simply send them back to receive a new selection (using the return label provided).

Love something so much you just can’t rip it out of rotation?  Easy! Buy the pieces you love the most at a members-only price (usually about 20% off retail).

Says Founder and CEO, Meaghan Rose: “I wanted to find a way to bridge rental and retail in a fashionable way, and to give women access to an ever-rotating supply of jewelry – using technology to deliver a personalized experience curated for each member.”
