The Junior League of Northern Virginia annually hosts a holiday Enchanted Forest to raise money for their yearly programs. Each year, Santa has welcomed the children, allowing them to sit on his lap and tell them not only what they want for Christmas, but also what special things they are going to do for Mommy and Daddy to make them worthy of Santa’s special treats and toys. This year, the “Snow Fairy Princess” got to come along, too!
It was such a delight to see the the children’s eyes tinkle as we read them “The Night Before Christmas” and to see them wrestle with one tough decision… do I want to sit on Santa’s lap… or with the Snow Fairy Princess??
