Teddy & The Bully Bar Jump into Spring

img_0573[1]Tuesday night, Executive Chef Demitrio Zavala hosted a small VIP event on the patio to showcase his new spring menu. With a seasonally changing menu, the evening event highlighted the variety of unique and stunningly beautiful foods that will be available at the restaurant starting next Thursday.

In true patriotic form, Demetrio educated guests about what the traditional American small plate is comprised of — a starch, a vegetable, and a meat. He called his small plates “heartier” than others served in DC — suggesting that many img_0585[1]were only comprised of a meat and a reduction.   Why?  Because Teddy would’ve appreciated a full stomach after a hunting expedition.

Flaunting locally sourced fresh ingredients, Teddy & The Bully Bar plays to the foody and historian alike.
