Tables Turned: Nude Artist Martin Swift Paints, Poses

What happens when the artist becomes the subject?  Last Wednesday night at  ArtJamz’ Dupont Studio, artist Martin Swift not only showed his latest exhibition — he became a bit of an exhibitionist.

Swift’s latest display, Paradox of Masculinity (modernist-realist life-sized oils of male nudes), was –literally — brought to life as a select group of art influencers participated in the art studio/lounge’s first ever live nude drawing class… with Swift as the subject!

Attendees, including Micah Greenberg, Katie Warren, Michael M Clements, Rachel Cothran, Joff Masukawa, Maggie O’Neill,and  Christopher Boutlier sketched the artist on individual 8×10 canvases while surrounded by his work: imposing, large scale images of modern nude males.
