STK’s One-Year Anniversary a True Speakeasy Soiree

Last Thursday night, STK celebrated its one year anniversary since it’s opening last spring… in prohibition-era style. Immediately upon entry, VIP guests were greeted by 1920s-themed hostesses and a beautiful model in a full-metal princess gown, complete with bubbling champagne tiers.

AVEDA provided complimentary hair and makeup for guests, and cigarette hostesses shared props, golden tattoos and candy cigarettes before guests posed for old-timey photos. In true speakeasy fashion, flappers shimmied to the music while saxophonist Kareem Wilkes roared with the tunes from New York’s DJ Martia.

The chic steakhouse featured favorite hors-d’oeuvre like crab cakes, rockfish shrimp, tuna tartar and quail eggs, and a hefty hand on drinks — like its popular cucumber stiletto.  It was a first anniversary fete not to forget!
