Last week at NCTA, Sony Pictures Classics co-hosted a reception, screening and discussion of their upcoming film Equity, set for official release on July 29, 2016. Equity follows the untold, fictionalized story of women on Wall Street navigating an industry driven by men, and stars Anna Gunn, James Purefoy, Sarah Megan Thomas and Alysia Reiner. 
Preceded by a reception, and followed by a discussion panel with Q&A moderated by the Honorable Ellen Tauscher, the event included discussions focused on the status of even treatment in the financial sector, and broader issues for women in business and women in policy.
