It’s a beloved ritual that seems to be disappearing at some of the District’s finer establishments — but is pouring in full force now at St. Regis: Afternoon Tea.
Complementing hand-selected teas from Harney & Sons, St. Regis’ tea trays highlight homemade scones (served with classic devonshire cream, lemon curd and chef-made local yellow peach marmalade!) as well as dark chocolate dripped strawberries, éclairs, and macarons. Or opt for the savory side, delighting in delicate tea sandwiches of Scottish Smoked Salmon, Maryland Style Crab Cake and local Heritage Pork Belly.
The time-honored tradition is now served daily starting from 2:00PM for $55 per person.
