It was a GNO (Girl’s Night Out) Thursday at South Moon Under in Arlington, as the east coast men’s and women’s fashion and accessories boutique hosted an event in honor of the fashion and beauty “bloggers” in the DC area.The night of shopping, sushi, Crumbs cupcakes and cocktails featured California-chic lifestyle brand Michael Stars, and a girly gabfest of guilt-free advice. South Moon Under’s marketing assistant Taylor Schlette suggested “mak[ing] tons of blueberry pies from simple ingredients and pass[ing] them out” to entice others to smile this summer. “Trust me girls, you’ll be a hit with all your friends,” she promised.
Meanwhile, Michael Kors sales representative Stacey Dube gave pearls of wisdom to guests hoping to burn calories for swimsuit season – “Spin to Britney Spears …and instead of eating the entire piece of cake, grab a bite from your friend’s plate and savor it!”
