Sleepover at the Archives!

This may be the most awesome thing you can do in the Archives — a true night at the Museum!

Back by popular demand, the National Archives and the Foundation for the National Archives are partnering to host two overnight events for children ages 8-12 in the Archives Rotunda.  That’s right: youth can engage with the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights before unrolling their sleeping bags and spending the night surrounded by the ultimate collection of exhibited U.S. historical documents.

Two nights only: Saturday, August 2 and October 18, 2014

The limited number of lucky young guests will also be treated to movies in the Archives’ William G. McGowan Theater before turning in for the night, and waking up to breakfast and more activities the next morning.  Registration now open for August 2nd…  tickets $125.
