ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen — Chipotle’s Asian restaurant version — opens its second DC location (and 3rd location EVER) in Georgetown on Monday. 
“Many different cuisines could fit into this model that will help to redefine fast food,” said Steve Ells, founder, chairman and co-CEO of Chipotle. But in ShopHouse, their second fast-food iteration of the popular brand’s style, the bold and complex flavors of Southeast Asia are paired with fresh, sustainably raised ingredients and made with the cooking techniques of Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Guests choose from jasmine rice, brown rice, chilled rice noodles, or a salad, then add grilled chicken satay or steak lamb, pork and chicken meatballs, or organic tofu, a choice of various fresh vegetables, green or spicy red curry sauce or a tamarind vinaigrette, green papaya slaw or pickled vegetables, and finish with an herb salad and toasted rice, crushed peanuts, or crispy garlic.
