Savoring Morocco at the Sofitel

From SATC2 (where it was actually filmed) to Jazz and Culture Festivals, Morocco is lately very much on our minds.  But since the rich and diverse destination is about 4,000 miles from the Nation’s Capital, not many have the opportunity to experience its wealth and wonder firsthand.

Leave it to the Sofitel to bring the bounty home.

This weekend, DC’s Sofitel Lafayette Square kicks off a ten day Moroccan-inspired celebration, September 25 – October 3rd.  The Sofitel’s usual timeless French contemporary cuisine gives way to a Moroccan flavor fest, inviting guests to take a gastrocation, “traveling” to Morocco for authentic meat briouats, traditional salads, couscous with lamb and tfaya, and all the accoutrements that make Morocco so mischevious.

Savoring the exotic spices just may tempt you to visit one of Sofitel’s three Moroccan properties (Marrakech, Rabat, Fes).

Because you just can’t get enough of the couscous!
