Roots, a handcrafted leather goods, footwear and accessories brand, will open a “Roots Cabin” store in Georgetown — and another Roots store in Pentagon City Mall — in early August. Both new stores are inspired by the great outdoors.
One of just six in North America, the ‘Roots Cabin’ design offers an enhanced retail experience evoking the comforts of a modern cabin.
Inside, shoppers will find a customization workshop to personalize their very own handcrafted leather bags and jackets; a Salt & Pepper Sweat Bar; fitting rooms featuring iconic Greater Washington D.C. area landscapes; a comfortable lounge to read about the Roots history and charging stations; and a heritage art wall displaying images of many prominent brand ambassadors over the years.
