Washingtonians have one week left to see a large neon love note that has been sending a message to Romania from the Wharf since mid-February.

The artwork by Andi Daiszler, which shows the words “MI-E DOR DE TINE” (“I MISS YOU” in Romanian) is dedicated to Romanian people living in the DC area, and offers a message of connection with loved ones in Romania.

While it has been visible on District Pier at The Wharf, its two sister artworks “ȘI MIE” and “TE AȘTEPT” (respectively “ME TOO” and “I AM WAITING FOR YOU” in Romanian) are on display in Romanian cities, allowing the Romanian community to connect through photos.

On March 21st MI-E DOR DE TINE will make its way across the country.
