Rare Rooftop Secret Unveiled at 1905

Last week we had a Menage A ‘Tah — and if the weather cooperates, we’ll go at it again. (There was whiskey, St. Germaine, Cointreau, Lucid Absinthe, Lemon Juice and bitters in it, so get your head out of VeevCocktailsthe gutter!!)

Known for its Absinthe (varieties from Austria, France, AND Switzerland) — as well as those curiously craveworthy quinoa crawfish hushpuppies, 1905 Bistro and Bar opened its rooftop for the season, inviting regulars to sip their Skinny Thymes (VEEV Acai Berry Liquor, Thyme infused1905absinthe simple syrup) and throw back some Kremlin’s Krack (Whiskey, Lime juice, Ginger beer) before the most laid back views over 9th and U Streets NW could be usurped by the masses.

This rooftop is a neighborhood secret that’s spilling fast, and it — and its absinthe — are just another reason to get high on summer.

*1905 is located at 1905 9th Street NW
