Practice and Play: DC Sociables Take Center Stage

Local sociables took to the Dumbarton House‘s garden stage as part of the Picnic Theatre Company’s inaugural production of Moliere’s The Hypochondriac Wednesday evening.  Performing to benefit Clowns Without Borders, the troupe – including Christina Sevilla (Toinette), Omar Popal (Doctor Purgon), and Director Karim Chrobog – welcomed the end of practice and the start of “party theater.”

*Additional cast members included Oli Robinson, Jessica Tribbe, Nishi Rawat, Emad Dawood, Michael Clements and Bruce MacPhail.
