Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Pony Up!

Pony Up! Polo Season is fast approaching, and a number of horsey happenings quickly fill the calendar. From enjoying a day in the country to seeing some first rate field competition, you have every reason to love this playful and philanthropic season… and ZERO reason to miss the annual Gordon Bowie Challenge.

Friday, July 2nd, 11AM – 4PM, at the Virginia International Polo Club in Upperville, a field full of power players will raise their mallets in a match where the polo ponies rack up the points, but the men come away happiest with a score of zero.
