Wednesday night, Peet’s Coffee & Tea welcomed Washington notables for a ‘perk’ party at its new flagship store on 1701 Pennsylvania Ave.
Legislators and media – including Congresswoman Jackie Speier, Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, and CNN Chief Congressional Correspondent Dana Bash – were among the 100+ attendees.
The VIP reception, with perfect timing to energize the city for the upcoming White House Correspondent’s Dinner marathon weekend, marks Peet’s DC debut.
The company opened five stores in April with 18 more to follow throughout 2014.
