H Street’s popular quick-casual pizzeria, H &pizza, is skipping down the alphabet a bit… and heading uptown.

Today, owners Steve Salis and Michael Lastoria announced the signing of a ten-year lease on U Street for a second location of their pizza pie place, which offers three dough types (traditional, whole-wheat or nine-grain), five house made sauces, whole-milk mozzarella and locally sourced topping ingredients, freshly prepared and ready to eat in minutes.

So what about it not being located on H Street? Apparently, you drop the letter when you open a new location.

In May, &pizza will take over the old Quizno’s space at 1250 U Street, NW.
