pizzastudioToday sounds like a good day for pizza!  So it’s a perfect pizza pie coincidence that Pizza Studio opened its flagship location in Dupont Circle (1333 New Hampshire Avenue NW) today… This new fast casual restaurant based in Southern California is the first to hit the DC market, with more openings planned as part of the company’s growth in the capital area.

“We designed Pizza Studio to offer everything from lunch to dinner to snacking and late-night dining, because we offer pizzas with unlimited toppings, which means endless possibilities,” boasts Pizza Studio Co-Founder & CEO Samit Varma, a graduate of Magruder High School in Derwood, Maryland, and the US Naval Academy.

Always priced at $7.99 for an 11” pie, Pizza Studio’s signature “Create Your Masterpiece” pizza includes unlimited toppings at no additional cost.  Or, choose the brand’s ‘Starving Artist’ pizzas — pizzastudio2familiar Pepperoni, Margherita, and Buffalo Chicken varieties –priced at only $5.99.  Additional menu items include chef-crafted signature salads, as well as oven-baked cookies and a selection of fountain beverages.

And speaking of Starving Artists… the flagship restaurant’s interior will feature the brand’s signature “starving artists’ wall” featuring works of art created by locals from Washington’s thriving art community, all of which are consigned from the artists and available for purchase.
