[Party Pix] Last Weekend’s Polo Party!

Whether you were a spectator or just creating a spectacle… it was going to take more than a torrential downpour and a tornado to keep some of DC’s finest from celebrating the end of a fantastic Twilight Polo season at Great Meadow, in The Plains, Virginia.

The usually well-heeled set donned Wellies and riding boots, as Cristina Hosmer and Bob Parr played host to a party in the Pavillion, complete with wine from Aspen Dale Winery and delicious food from Rocklands Barbecue.  But first, the guests were treated to Bob’s polo debut with Great Meadows Polo Club squaring off in a round robin chukker.
We’re not exactly sure who won–neither was he–but it didn’t seem to matter as nothing was going to dampen anybody’s spirit.
Ray Regan acted as announcer, but Cristina’s son, Isaac, stole the show with an announcer booth declaration of love for his mom, who he dubbed “the best polo player and best mommy in the world.”
When the last chukker had been played, guests Nina Snow and Amada Polk danced to some groovy beats and reveled under the stars. Also spotted: America’s most infamous party crasher, Tareq Salahi, spotted chatting up the ladies and boasting about his latest efforts…to become Virginia’s next governor.
