Always up for the untraditional, K Street Magazine feted its 7th anniversary Tuesday night with an arty-party at local painters’ place, Art Jamz. Inviting friends and fans to come “as they are” and make their mark — literally. KSM took away Art Jamz’s usual easels and canvases and, instead, asked attendees to paint a graffiti wall using just what they brought with them… themselves!
To get the creative juices flowing, Van Gogh Vodka provided a palette of unique varieties (like Peanut Butter & Jelly, Espresso, Caramel and Blackberry!) to flavor things up as the colors started running.
And in the end, with close to no white space left on the wall, editor ‘K Street’ Kate offered herself as a canvas, allowing guests to make a mess, make new friends… and make a masterpiece.
HUGE thanks to Art Jamz, to Van Gogh Vodka (and Republic National Distributing) — and everyone in attendance. And thanks to all of our readers and friends for making the last 7 years so wonderfully special! Here’s to continuing… with creativity!!
