The Washington Ballet pirouetted into the 2013/2014 season Saturday night with Unmask the Night: A Grande Masquerade Soirée. This third annual Soirée transformed the Homer Building into a modern day Versaille as guests donned masks fit for a royal masquerade.
Put on by The Washington Ballet’s Women’s Committee and Jeté Society, and chaired by Stacey Lubar and Ashley Taylor Bronczek, the revelry was accompanied by performances of The Washington Ballet Studio Company choreographed by Aaron Jackson. The evening also included a silent auction featuring high-end items, one-of-a-kind experiences, dining packages and other temptations and dancing into the wee hours continues with the tunes spun by local DJs, EXGrüüv and Blurry Vision.
