National Cannabis Festival Coming to RFK in April

The sixth annual National Cannabis Festival, the East Coast’s largest ticketed cannabis gathering, will return to Washington’s RFK Campus on April 23 for a full weekend of events.  The popular festival celebrates progress on cannabis legalization while also calling for an end to the criminalization of marijuana and the war on drugs.

Visitors will experience DJs and outdoor musical performances including Wiz KhalifaLettuceGhostface KillahBackyard BandDuPont BrassShamans of SoundCramer, and Farrah Flosscett as well as a wide range of exhibitors, and a brand-new culinary pavilion complete with cooking demonstrations led by top chefs, talks and eating contests, among many other attractions. Full lineups and talent for the culinary pavilion, as well as exhibitors, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Cannabis conversations actually begin in DC on Friday, April 22 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center for the National Cannabis Policy Summit, where lawmakers and advocates from across the United States convene to discuss the most pressing cannabis policy issues. On Sunday, festivities wrap up at Echostage as home growers from across the Mid-Atlantic present their THC and hemp flower and vie for the highest honors at the National Cannabis Championship, sponsored by Gentleman Toker, and featuring performances by Slick Rick and Footwerk.
