Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Miss Teen USA at USO Gala: “I Love Danger!”

Rima Fakih, Miss USA 2010,  and Kamie Crawford, Miss Teen USA 2010, aren’t satisfied to simply boost troop morale stateside. The ladies, both present at the USO‘s annual awards gala Thursday night at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC, seemed anxious to leave the comforts of home to bring comfort to soldiers  – even in frightening places.

 “I’d love to travel with the USO,” said Crawford.  “We’ll go anywhere they’ll let us, anywhere… even dangerous places.  I love danger!”

“Just put us on a plane!” added Fakih.  “It doesn’t matter where.  We can entertain – and I’ll cook for them!”
