There was more than just a second anniversary to celebrate earlier this month when Michael Andrews Bespoke (MAB), DC’s premier custom clothier located in Dupont Circle, opened its doors to friends, fans and favorite clients.
In a sea of spectacular suits — the majority of which were the creation of the custom tailer, of course — brand namesake Andrews gave DC what it had been dreaming about… more access! Not only did MAB announce the appointment of Frasier Saunders, a top Stylist from MAB’s New York team, as a full-time local, but Saunders’ relocation also came with news of expanded store hours — five days a week!
“We are thrilled with the success we have had in our first two years in Washington, DC,” said Andrews. “Expanding to five days a week under the direction of one of our brightest stars is very exciting for us. There is so much going on in DC, and we are proud to be a part of the resurgence the city is seeing in men’s fashion.”
Among those in attendance to celebrate and show off their sartorial style were Dormeil’s Luke Mayes, ABB Technology Ventures’ Grant Allen, Audi GM of Customer Experience Victor Nguyen-Long, Miss District of Columbia 2011 Ashley Boalch Darby, and Albright Stonebridge Group’s Ben Chang.
The Michael Andrews Bespoke showroom is located at 1604 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20009
