Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Marker’s Mark Leaves its Mark at Town Hall

It was a mixer. As long as that Maker’s was mixed with Coke, Ginger Ale or water!

Fans of the dark liquor flocked to Glover Park’s Town Hall Wednesday night to cheer for Kentucky in every way, enjoying Maker’s Mark specials while Kentucky vs. Arkansas hoops played on TV.

Maker’s Mark Brand Ambassador John E. Vicker’s Smith, II was on hand to emblazon anything anyone wanted in the famous wax, giving attendees like Adair Hendrickson, Laura Johnson, Matt Duff and Hall McMillan marked momentos of a night of bourbon and basketball.
