Top Chef Season 5 finalist, and owner of Alchemy, Carla Hall (left) was all set to make butternut squash ravioli today, but after devouring Founding Farmers‘ dish at last night’s March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction, she joked that she just might be calling for their signature squash carry-out instead!
Hall, and over 30 of Washington DC’s top chefs, mixologists and other special guests came together for the MOD’s annual culinary and creative partnership to promote their craft and support efforts to reduce premature births.
Filled with foodie philanthropists, the Ritz Carlton ballroom was coursing with culinary delights, from Lima’s spiced ceviche to The Ronald Reagan Building‘s pumpkin soup (at left). And the food wasn’t the only attraction! Also spotted were legendary Redskin Gary Clark, Hell’s Kitchen Season 3 winner Rock Harper, and Jazz artist Ski Johnson celebrating his daughter’s birthday.
