We may be a few weeks/months away from all-out parades, but there can still be special food, music, dancing, drinking… and a whole lot of green. Here are some of the deals we’ve found to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in DC this year:
Between March 17th and 20th, the Fairmont Hotel – Georgetown‘s Executive Chef Jordi Gallardo and his culinary team are serving up a menu of Emerald Isle favorites from 4-10 pm in the loggia, Lobby Bar, and courtyard. Furthermore, guests that stop in with the most creative St. Paddy’s Day attire will be entered to win prizes.
All month long, Farewell, the plant-based diner, offers a heat-at-home Shepherd’s Pie with ground seitan, herbs, and veggies topped with fluffy mashed potatoes ($18, serves 2-3).
Atlas Brew Works shows off its newly expanded outdoor seating at its Half Street location with $5 Do-or Die Irish shots every day until the 17th, but on St. Pat’s day proper, you’ll want to stop by the Ivy City venue because it’s offering BOGO crawlers for carryout.
Colony Grill pays tribute to its Irish roots leading up to the 17th by offering its one-of-a-kind thin crust pizza topped with corned beef and cabbage ($13.45) from 11:30 am to close.
There’s more luck o’ the Irish to celebrate around town, so if you know a deal that begs to be shared… comment below and we’ll let the leprechauns shout it out.
