Limited Time Frye Company Pop-Up Gallery Enhances Georgetown Flagship Store

It was a night of creativity, carousing and leather Thursday night as the Frye Flagship Store in Georgetown hosted a party to celebrate the opening of the Frye Company Pop-up Gallery, a limited time experience which displays photographed and painted images by painter Martin Swift, photographer Jim Darling, Jessica Lancaster and fashion photographer Amber Mahoney.

Local distilling company, Catoctin Creek, poured signature cocktails for guests using a delicious (and deadly) photo 3 (2)recipe; John Thornley, the lead singer of DC-based band U.S. Royalty played, and powerful works were surrounded by displays of tempting Frye boots as the invite-only opening of the Pop-up gallery showed a marked enhancement of Frye’s already enticing space.

And don’t think that because a party was going on that guests couldn’t do a little shopping on the side! Frye photo 5 (1)employees encouraged everyone to try on a pair or two between pours and paintings.
