Kristin Harmel Talks Family, Food & Forgetting at Signing For Latest Novel

Breaking out of the ‘Chick Lit’ category, author Kristin Harmel returned to DC to sign her latest, “The Sweetness of Forgetting,” at The Daily Dish in Silver Spring last week.

Harmel’s seventh novel, this one a “book from her heart,” grapples with a Mother’s struggles with family tradition and responsibility… while also discovering a long-kept secret.

This story of family, love, honesty… and baked goods will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you hungry! Set in a bakery and accompanied with mouth-watering recipes, it’s a sweet story to savor.
