Just Your FREE Summer Trip to Mars

It’s on now.  “Mars Up Close”, a free exhibition at the National Geographic Museum, has just started transporting visitors to the Red Planet as part of National Geographic’s “Summer in Space.”

The exhibition features the latest images taken by NASA’s Curiosity rover — did you know it’s the second anniversary of its landing? — as well as showcases full-scale models of the family of rovers that have gone to Mars: Curiosity, Spirit/Opportunity and the 1997 Sojourner.  Visitors will learn about NASA scientists, discover what Mars is like through interactives, and get up close to a “clone” of Curiosity.

FREE, now through November 30th.
