Reporters know about chasing leads, running stories and racing to the deadline finish line! (In fact, we love lines, especially bylines!)
But reporter or not, you can join Team K Street Magazine as we race to BEAT THE DEADLINE at the National Press Club‘s annual 5k run on September 7th at 7:30 AM. Proceeds from the race benefit the Club’s National Journalism Library, as well as awarding scholarships to deserving journalism students.
Here’s the fun stuff: Tony Horton is Honorary Race Marshall (alongside news4’s Erika Gonzalez), and he’ll be leading pre-race stretching for everyone before taking off with his P90X Race Team. Catch him – or beat him – there are cash prizes for top place finishers (individual and group)!
