The Ford’s Theatre Society hosted its annual gala on Sunday, featuring appearances by host Scott Bakula, dance icon Debbie Allen, Tony Award winning actress Laura Benanti, operatic soprano Alyson Cambridge, actor Cheyenne Jackson, YouTube darlings and ABC’s Nashville actors Lennon and Maisy Stella, and dancer Melinda Sullivan.

The star studded event also included the awarding of the Ford’s Theatre Lincoln Medal to actor James Earl Jones and the U.S. House of Representatives’ longest-serving member, The Honorable John D. Dingell, “two individuals whose extraordinary character, accomplishments and work reflect Lincoln’s legacy of leadership, service, humanity and vision.”
