Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. You’ll catch her interviewing guests on DC’s NewChannel8′s Let’s Talk Live and showcasing products on BestBuy.com, as well as work appearing on NBC, Fox, Comcast and local print publications.

Invitation: KSM’s 8 Feels Great!

Of course you’ve heard that SoulCycle is opening its first DC studio — and 30th nationwide — in the West End this month.  But we’ve got some news that’ll really get you spinning. 

K Street Magazine is thrilled to partner with this cycling dance-party-on-a-bike revolution to celebrate our eighth anniversary: 8 Feels Great!  We’ll fill up the 55 bike studio with DC’s in the know… who are just as inspired by a motivational workout as the city’s other memorable offerings, which KSM has been sharing since early summer 2006.

Space is limited for this FREE fete (each bike will be confirmed upon rsvp) taking place on Monday, August 25th at 7:30 pm.  But even if you aren’t able to join in the for the cycle soiree, the revelry keeps rolling:  we’ll be announcing plans for post-party “rehydration” via our Twitter and Facebook pages.
