Hotel Helix Out, Mason & Rook In

There’s a new Kimpton Hotel coming this Spring.  But another Kimpton prime property is shuttering to make room for it.

Kimpton’s Mason & Rook Hotel — a new flagship 178-room hotel along the lively 14^th Street corridor — will take the place of the Hotel Helix.  Plans call for a larger building footprint; a newly constructed 1,800 square foot ballroom; and guest rooms that will be some of the largest in the city.

 Kimpton’s Mason & Rook Hotel will be located at 1430 Rhode Island Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20005.
