Holiday Inn Express Breaking Ground in Mt. Vernon Triangle

Can we solve the political divide?  Maybe not, but we can stay in a Holiday Inn Express soon.

A 247-room Holiday Inn Express hotel will break ground this month on a $93 million project in Washington, DC’s Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood.

Located at 317 K Street, NW on the northeast corner of 4th and K, the 14-story hotel will be just three blocks east of the new downtown Apple Store in the historic Carnegie Library as well as the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Since 2015, this site has been intended for a hotel, albeit one called Lima.   The Holiday Inn Express is planned to open in late 2020.
