Here’s Your New Go-To for Pizza and Pours on 14th Street

Pizzeria Vetri  hosted its grand opening party for its new DC location on 14th street last Thursday. Opening this week, the Philly-based offshoot celebrated by serving from a full bar, with Titos cocktails made by guest mixtress, Gina Chersevani, wine, and beer selections from BlueJacket.

Guests and local residents gathered in the hip warehouse styled space, and were served slices of fresh oven baked Neapolitan pies and fried pizza dough sprinkled with sugar. Many of the pizza combinations were quite unique, like the eggplant pizza with crushed san marzano tomatoes, eggplant, stracciatella cheese, oregano, and  burratta cheese.

Outside, Soul & Ink was creating live-screenprinted tees, and inside, guests danced to a live DJ while they mingled and oogled over the pizza and desserts.
