DC ladies came out in full force Sunday afternoon to celebrate Washingtonian Bride & Groom’s “Unveiled,” a wedding showcase event.
Hosted at the swanky West End Ritz-Carlton, the hotel’s grand ballrooms were divided into Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter areas, each bursting with bridal extravagances to try and taste from top local wedding vendors.
Attendees delighted in delicious treats from bakers and caterers — cooing, especially, over cupcakes from two-time “Cupcake Wars” champion Sticky Fingers Bakery — sampled drinks, and won fabulous door prizes.
Presented by Carine’s Bridal Atelier, the show featured designers like Monique Lhuillier and Carolina Herrera. The piece de resistance (with a matching fascinator) by Marchesa (featured image, above) had only ever hit the runway once before — which, of course, is one more time than any of the Beltway brides would wear it.
