Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Happy Birthday, Michael Saylor!

It wasn’t quite my week to declare an all out “War on Productivity,” yet that was the theme of Michael Saylor’s mid-week birthday bash last night at the Four Seasons. Two bands (Winn Brothers and Judo Chop) played for a packed ballroom of partiers prepared to drink and dance the night away… and have so much fun that “Doctor’s Notes” would be provided so revelers could call in sick and refrain from productivity on Thursday.

Though I had to be up bright and early as usual, it was a blast wishing Michael a happy, happy birthday and waging war on mid-week normalcy, cold weather doldrums…and yes, maybe just a little bit of productivity!
