Hal David Joins Legendary Performers at ASCAP Donation Event

Leading singer/songwriter/composer members of the ASCAP Foundation, including Jackie DeShannon (Put a Little Love in Your Heart), Lyle Lovett (If I Had a Boat) and Dean Kay (That’s Life) gathered at the Library of Congress Tuesday evening to donate original manuscripts, lead sheets, lyric sheets, etc. and perform their most loved music.


Hal David (Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head) admitted that choosing amongst his hits for the evening’s entertainment was difficult – almost as tough as choosing which of his songs to sing in the world’s karaoke bars!
