Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Hail to the Chef!

The (short) wait is over!  In the quickest turnaround of any of DC based reality show, “Top Chef: DC,” which filmed challenges in town just a few months ago, will air on Bravo this Wednesday, June 16th at 9 PM.

What to expect: Top Chef with a Power City Twist.

Taste tester Eric Ripert joins as a judge with other surprise city guest appearances (potential spoiler alert!: Apollo Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Assistant White House Chef Sam Kass, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, Congressman Aaron Schock of Illinois, Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, CIA Director Leon Panetta, and NBC White House Correspondent Savannah Guthrie).

It’s been seven seasons, but there’s still something sizzling about these cheftestants coming to cook in the Nation’s Capital.
