His accolades include Rookie of the Year 2006 and MVP 2008 and 2009, but at just 25 years old, and with years to go on his contract, it may at first be strange to hear that Alex Ovechkin already has a “Greatest Moments” DVD.

The 60 minute feature was released Monday night at Hudson Restaurant, showing the Great 8 (his jersey number) not necessarily in his best periods at play, but rather mostly in the off-season – including time in his home country of Russia, his many cars, and his life before the NHL.

Fans of the Caps most famous player will enjoy getting to know Ovie on a more personal level, seeing footage taken by Ovechkin with his own Flip camera, and hearing interviews with Ted Leonsis and GM George McPhee.
