Beer hounds and foodies alike, are excited to wet their whistles and enjoy a meal at National Harbor’s new Granite City Food and Brewery Ltd The St. Cloud, Minn.-based restaurant and brew-pub opened its 34th location last week with a food-filled preview evening that also included a children’s book drive to benefit The Child & Family Network Centers.

“It’s an honor to bring our award winning, hand-crafted beers and made-from-scratch meals to a whole new audience of hungry diners,” Rob Doran, Granite City Food & Brewery CEO, shared, before showing off a menu of Granite City favorites — and some exciting new additions made specifically for the National Harbor location.  Signature dishes include ponzu salmon, braised bison short ribs, pulled pork waffle sandwich, burgers, flatbreads, salads, steaks and more, as well as a regionally-defined seasonal menu sourced from local food producers.

Handcrafted beers — by the pint or in growlers — include signature and seasonal brews created onsite as well as a selection of locally produced craft brews.  (See below for what’s on tap…)

The large — quite large (10,881 square foot) — restaurant is accompanied by an outdoor patio.  Dark wood and granite accents complement its modern design.  And those looking for “the little things” will appreciate family restrooms, purse hooks, gluten free menu options, and USB and electrical outlets located for tech charging immediately underneath the bar.
