Only fashionistas would brave cold weather to shop and talk spring/summer trends.
Fashion Group International of Greater DC was leading those huddled masses first from the THE ANGELIKA Pop Up! The fashion group presented a video montage of themes from the spring shows to explain designer motivations… and then told the common consumer how to make it work in real life.
Post presentation, it was off to the Gilt City Warehouse sale.
Armed with knowledge of the coming trends, FGI members and guests enjoyed expedited entry into a gluttony of Gilt goodies. Local fashion minded celebusocials were sighted stripping down to their base layers to try on fashion (no waiting for the dressing rooms!).
We’re predicting the boys probably made out the best with amazing deals, all from the John Varvatos Pop Up.
Those who came to window shop were also put to work! They ran back and forth to the Skinny Girl bars… to grab refreshments for friends who needed the fuel.
