“The palate of the National Capital region is expanding and is ready for Capriotti’s signature fresh-made sandwiches,” said franchisee (and DC native) George Vincent, Jr. who plans to open a dozen Capriotti’s location in the region over the next two years.
Capriotti’s is known for roasting whole turkeys daily and making hot and cold sub sandwiches to order in three sizes. Its best seller, The Bobbie (in-house roasted turkey, homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce and a touch of mayo, seen above), was voted “Greatest Sandwich in America” by AOL readers. Another favorite, the Capistrami, combines hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and Cole slaw.*
