Georgetown’s Sunset Fitness in the Park

To keep DCers fit and fabulous, the Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) is offering its own free series of outdoor fitness classes, fit-savvy menus and other promotions highlighting the wealth of health and wellness options within this particular DC neighborhood.

Healthy Days of Summer in Georgetown showcases the neighborhood as a hub of health with a summer-long series of FREE fitness classes held twice weekly at studio to include CrossFit Key Bridge, Barre3 Georgetown, CorePower Yoga, Down Dog Yoga, Georgetown Yoga, Yoga Del Sol, Fitness Together Georgetown, and Key Bridge Boathouse.

WHEN: June 8 through September 2; the hour-long sessions begin at 6 p.m.
WHAT: FREE one-hour outdoor fitness classes hosted by Georgetown yoga, barre and other fitness studios twice a week all summer long.
WHERE: In Georgetown Waterfront Park near the intersection of Potomac Street and K Street (Water Street).

DETAILS: Expect complimentary healthy snacks and incredible Potomac River views. Participants must bring their own yoga mat for yoga classes, and be sure to wear athletic attire and shoes.
