Georgetown Harbor’s Anchor Restos Get Back Their Appetites

After more than four million in renovations and over a year of post-flood paused profits, Georgetown’s two anchor Harbor restaurants are back in business.

Nearly 25 years to the day that Tony & Joe’s first opened (in 1987), the popular waterfront restaurant and its counterpart across the way, Nick’s Riverside Grill, showcased renovations, new Chefs, new menus and opened a new chapter Tuesday at a VIP grand re-opening.

The dining duo welcomed back loyal customers, news notables like Steve Chenevy, sports celebrities like former Redskin Shawn Springs and Sonny Jurgensen, local politicians like Vincent Orange, and area VIPs to show off the new design, enjoy some eats and check out the progress of the coming Georgetown Ice Skating Rink just outside!
