Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Front Page: Giants Win Superbowl!

Of course the winner would be splashed all over the front page Monday morning, but it was the actual big game that was splashed all over every big screen at The Front Page in Dupont Sunday night.

A charitable* cheering crowd gathered at the popular watering hole to enjoy an all they could eat — and drink — buffet while rooting for their chosen team showing on the venue’s 12 TVs.

Complimentary passed crab cakes and coney island hot dogs were as attention grabbing as those high-priced commercials, while proposition pools, Superbowl Squares and raffles added to the fun.  Guests held their breath for the game’s final moments… and to win Wizards, Caps and Nats tickets, an autographed Ian Desmond baseball, a golf outing, a Front Page Happy Hour and a big screen TV!

*A portion of the evenings’ proceeds directly benefit Girls, Inc. and The James Michael Foundation.
