Flying Planes Inside the National Building Museum

The D.C. Maxecuters, model plane enthusiasts, introduced visitors to the magic of indoor flying at the National Building Museum’s 159-foot-tall Great Hall Sunday afternoon – continuing the tradition of this indoor flying showcase since 1997. The flying models demonstrate principles of good design as they balance various forces with structural strength and functionality.
